Working with existing layout or floor plan
Making major changes can result in thousands of dollars in a bathroom remodeling project. For example sometimes changing the location for a toilet with a sink could add $2000 dollars to your overall cost.
Research Pricing
From the comfort of your own couch and pick up your laptop or tablet and make sure to save model #’s you should be able to discover most of the items by keywords as well. Make sure to include taxes
And of course shipping. You’ll find there are several advantages to shopping online from companies with competitive pricing and some of them offer free shipping which obviously is the way to go.
Craigslist
Been a couple occasions where I have found a couple of vanities being sold by Home Depot for almost half the price in the store. Make sure to look you never know you might find the diamond in the rough.
Paint your Vanity
This could obviously save you $1500-$3000 depending on where you look. But if that isn’t an alternative buy vanities with built in sinks and countertops included.
Buy Tile with Straight Edges
Most people are more drawn to the hex tile but it could result in a few hundred more dollars to install it because it requires more cuts. The cheapest tiles to install are those that have a straight or flat edge. The mesh backed tile is more expensive as well to install because it requires more cuts per sheet as well.
